Electronic Concepts and Engineering
Electronic Concepts and Engineering (ECE) is an addition to the aerospace and defense platform owned by Delmar in partnership with Gardner Standard LLC, which was formed in 2020 with the initial purchase of Shadin Avionics. Based in Ohio, ECE is an engineering services and manufacturing business that has principally served aerospace and defense end markets for over 30 years. ECE designs, prototypes, tests, and manufactures custom electronic and software systems, primarily for mission and safety-critical military and aerospace applications, with an emphasis on rugged environments. Capabilities include project management, circuit design, software design and development, printed circuit board design, mechanical design, fabrication, prototyping, testing and low- to mid-volume manufacturing. In addition, ECE can assist with the development of system specifications and qualification testing.
