International Cybernetics Company
Delmar acquired International Cybernetics Company (ICC), a Florida-based company that has designed and manufactured devices used for the collection of road surface data (e.g., ride, rutting, texture, friction, and surface condition) since 1978. Its equipment has been used to collect data on over 26 million road miles by governments (local, state departments of transportation, and federal), other engineering companies, and ICC itself in its capacity as a service provider for its customers.
ICC’s engineers have spent the initial years post-purchase designing software that allows for automated and repeatable pavement condition collection and processing that is second to none in the industry. In addition, the company has redesigned its hardware product lines to incorporate cross-platform software standardization, and purchased a complementary product line specifically to address the airport runway market.
